College Football Week 12 2024 Game Of The Week Preview-
Ah, the grand spectacle where delusional meets entitlement in what's known as the Tennessee vs Georgia football game. On one side, we have the Tennessee fans, who've probably convinced themselves that their team practices by running through fields of four-leaf clovers, hoping for a miracle. They're out here thinking their QB Nico is the second coming of Peyton Manning, bless their hearts. However, there’s questions if Nico will even play. The backup QB is named Gaston Moore and we all know how well things go for Gaston when confronted with a beast.
Then, there's Georgia, or as their fans pompously refer to themselves, "The Dawg Nation." These folks strut around like they've already won the national championship, again, because apparently, their team's past victories mean they're entitled to an easy win every time. They're probably expecting their players to simply show up, wag their tails, and the scoreboard will just magically favor them because, well, they're Georgia. However, the fans crawl around like dogs and bark at other people. Who does that? Pretty sure that’s a personality disorder.
The game itself? Well, it's less a competition and more a comedy of errors waiting to unfold. Tennessee fans will be squinting through their orange-tinted glasses, thinking every play is a game-changer, while Georgia fans, with their noses in the air, will be shocked if, heaven forbid, their team doesn't steamroll over the Vols. Expect Tennessee’s offense to sputter and stall with regularity, like an Alabama fan’ 1992 Nissan Altima, and Tennessee’s defense to cause Carson Beck to turn it over more than frequently than his teammates have to surrender their drivers’ licenses.
So, gather 'round, folks, for a match where Tennessee's delusional optimism might just meet Georgia's entitled expectations in the middle of the field. Spoiler alert: reality might not align with either fanbase's fantasy. Our Pick- If Nico plays, Tennessee wins. No Nico, Dawgs win but don’t cover. Either way, stay off the streets in Athens after the game.
